Privacy Policy

Last updated: [DATE]. This is a starting template, not legal advice — review and adapt it for your jurisdiction (and your actual providers) before launch.

sumof.me (“we”, “us”) is operated by [your name or company], contactable at [your email]. This policy explains what little data the site touches and how.

The short version

You don’t need an account, and we don’t ask for your name, email, or any personal details to take the quiz or see your result. Your answers are processed in your browser to work out your archetype — they aren’t sent to or stored on our servers.

What we handle

  • Quiz answers — used in your browser to compute your result; not transmitted to or kept by us.
  • Preferences — a sound on/off setting saved in your browser’s local storage. It stays on your device.
  • Server logs — our host keeps standard request logs (such as IP address and browser type) briefly, for security and operations.

Cookies & advertising

When advertising is enabled, we use Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including personalised ads. Details are in our Cookie Policy, in Google’s partner-sites notice, and you can manage ad personalisation at Google Ad Settings. Visitors in the EU/UK are asked for consent before non-essential cookies are set.

Paid downloads

If you buy a Guided Plan, payment is handled by our payment provider [e.g. Stripe], who processes your payment details under their own privacy policy — we don’t store card information.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Because we don’t build user profiles or store your answers, there is usually little to act on — but you can reach us any time at [your email].

Children

The site isn’t directed at children under [13/16] and we don’t knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy; the date above reflects the latest version.
